Harold and the Life Education bus

Harold and the Life Education bus

The Life Education Bus was parked up at TCAS this week and ākonga of all ages enjoyed Harold's lunchtime outing!

This week we had the Life Education bus visit our school with Harold the giraffe. Pip and Harold taught Years 1 to 10 throughout three sessions over the course of three days. The classes enjoyed spending time with Harold and Pip, singing karaoke, looking at the stars, watching educational videos from Ham and Henrietta. The students were learning about healthy food choices, emotions, resilience and substances. On Tuesday we all had the treat of playing with Harold on the playground during lunch.

The Life Education Trust travels to schools all around the South Island and teaches students from years 1-8 all about health, and being the best we can be. Our school is lucky that the Years 9 and 10 got taught by Pip and Harold too. On behalf of the school, we would like to say thank you Pip and Harold, see you next year!
