A day of traditional Chinese games

Being the last day of term, Alleria showed us some playground games from China!

A huge thank you to Alleria Xu for sharing her vibrant culture with us this year! Alleria is from Wuhan, China and students have enjoyed learning basic Chinese words and exploring fascinating customs and games from her.

This Wednesday, Alleria introduced traditional rope skipping, feathered shuttlecock games, and table tennis. Theses are all activities that primary students love in China. Last week, everyone had a fantastic time trying on traditional dresses and outfits!

We are Gǎnjī de (grateful) for the opportunity to enrich our ākonga’s learning experience. Thank you, Alleria!
