As part of the Art Programme the Year 7 and 8 students have been learning dance. Over the term students have explored movement, rhythm, made instruments out of recycled materials, created numerous dances and performing them for their peers, critiquing and refining them. In the last two weeks the class settled on a dance to the Lorax, as the music fitted best with the theme of environmental change. The students' confidence has grown over the term and they were proud to perform this dance at the end of term assembly.
