Having a ball in Waihola on camp!
Day 1
We arrived at school, we packed the vehicles and then we got on the road to Waihola. When we arrived at the park at Waihola we had a play and ate morning tea. When we arrived at the Waihola Christian Youth Camp we had some lunch and played frisbee golf, played with the hose because it was boiling and after tea we played cricket and then we went to bed.
Day 2
We woke up, had breakfast and got ready to go on a walk in Waihola. It was super windy at the lake and there were massive waves on the lake. We walked along the board walk and then the whole way back. After lunch we went to Moana Pool some of us went down the hydroslides and jumped off the high diving board. When we got back to camp we played cricket, did some skits which were energetic and a bit crazy!
Day 3
After breakfast we packed our bags and the vehicles so we could do some team building activities. The team building activities included filling a holey drum with water, getting a tyre on and off a high pole and climbing through a spider web. We then went bowling and it was exciting and challenging.
We would like to thank Mr B, Mrs Hanley and Ms McKenzie for organising the camp as without them it would be impossible. A very big thanks to the awesome parents Amy, Rachel, Brent and Abbey.
