RYDA is a road safety programme available to senior students across New Zealand. Our Year 10-12 students attended the course at Telford this week.
The RYDA (Rotary Youth Driver Awareness) have been running workshops with our Year 10-12 students this week, educating them on driver safety and distraction. These aren’t driving lessons, but training sessions on developing personal strategies and skills that will help young drivers respond to challenges on the road – both in the driver’s seat and as passengers. Our students attended the course at Telford alongside students from South Otago High School, Lawrence Area School and Tokomairiro High School.
